Passport Photo Service: Passport photos may be purchased for $16.05 each at all of our passport acceptance facilities, or you may also purchase photos at retail stores that offer passport photo services.

Passport Renewals

Can you renew by mail? If you answer YES to all of the below questions, you MUST renew your passport by mail. Additional instructions are included on the required Renewal Application Form DS-82.

• Can you submit your most recent U.S. passport book and/or U.S. passport card?
• Were you at least 16 years old when your most recent U.S. passport was issued?
• Were you issued your most recent U.S. passport less than 15 years ago?
• Has the U.S. passport you are renewing not been mutilated, damaged, lost, stolen, or subsequently found?
• Has your U.S. passport not been limited from the normal ten year validity period?
• Will you use the same name as on your most recent U.S. passport, OR have you had your name changed by marriage or court order and can submit proper documentation to reflect the name change?

If you answered 'No' to any of the above, you must apply in person with Form DS-11.
