What is Restitution? 

Restitution is the court-ordered payment to an individual, group or entity to compensate a victim of a crime, or a delinquent act, for an injury or loss.  The restitution payment is paid by the party found responsible for the injury or loss. 

Restitution is determined by the court in Criminal cases and in Juvenile delinquency cases.
